Product Post




2.) The brand name is, apple ipod classic(160gb).

3.) Five things that come to mind when i think about this brand are, I think about the words pricey, sleek, cool, worth the price, innovative. What shaped my existing perception on this brand is the media. Every time you turn around there is a new advertisement about an ipod or some form of an apple product. As well as the constant promotion by music stars, the fact that they all have them, or show them in their videos, etc.

4.) Seeing as how there are a lot of different opinions on this product when looking at what the majority said I agree with them.

5.) A lot of people commented on how apple is innovative and the first of its kind, how it's expensive yet amazing and cool. I think that's why I agree with the majority, even though buying this product has its downsides like the fact that it is expensive the good out weighs the bad. You pay for what you get and by me paying $216 for this product I can hold my entire music library and then some because it can hold 40,000 songs which means it can last forever.

My Favorite Ad

         I choose this advertisement because I think McDonalds did a great job with catching its target audience. The ad was made like a music video even though it was a bout chicken nuggets which targets younger generations such as teens up to middle twenties that listen to music .This is one of their main target audiences especially since they buy most of the food. It also has an urban sound to it because a lot of the resturaunts are built in or around inner cities. The song is also catchy, which makes you think about it even when the commercial isn't playing. Which in turn may cause you to buy the chicken nuggets because the song is stuck in your head and you're thinking about them.
        I personally like the ad because this was only one version of it, they made a longer version as well. That keeps me interested in the product when the makers take the time to revamp techniques on how to get consumers to buy their product. The advertisement is also funny, it models a video when it comes on but then once you realize it's about chicken nuggets it makes it all the more funny. They did a great job with this advertisement.
